Steel My Summer!

Steel My Summer at KVCC is 5 days of non-stop fun as campers engage in hands-on, interactive activities that expose them to the advanced technologies required in today's manufacturing environment.

Campers will design a radio-controlled car, fabricate its components, assemble it and take if for a test drive! To complete the car, students will explore computer basics, computer-assisted design, drafting, fabrication, metal-shearing and assembly processes.

Steel My Summer is open to all students ages 12 - 16 who live or attend school in the KVCC district.
