Applications Available For 2007-2008 Employee Enhancement Grants

Michigan Works! Kalamazoo and St. Joseph County has just released applications for the 2007-2008 Employee Enhancement Grants.

Deadline for submission is Monday, December 3, 2007!!

These grants are available to businesses in:

• Manufacturing
• Healthcare (patient care)
• Service industries
• Advanced manufacturing
• Life sciences
• Technology
• Homeland security and/or defense
• Alternative energy fields

Business must be located in either Kalamazoo or St. Joseph counties, and training must be completed by May 31, 2008.A preference is given to applications that include training services delivered by M-TEC at KVCC. Michigan Works! has $148,532 available to fund training - with a maximum grant of $15,000 per company.
